I just found this amaaazing site. It's a microfinancing site for artists. Where you can put up your idea and how much it will cost to make it a reality, and incentives for investors, then people give you money to make your dream a reality.

Champagne Beer (not miller high life)

I heard about this on A Chef's Table (one of my favorite podcasts). It's beer that's brewed in Belgium and then shipped to the Champagne region of France and goes through the same fermentation process as Champagne. It's also placed in caves to mature, and I'm impressed by things that mature in caves. I once tried a blue cheese from the cheese man that was aged in caves that were airated by bats. Batman cheese.

Anyway, I want to ring in the new year with Deus Brut Flanders.

You can either use their editing software which is just really slow, but Jason ended up using indesign and it apparently worked great. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE FINAL PRINTED PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Netflix Workout

I am the kind of person who needs to make time to work out or else all the energy that builds up from working in front of a computer most days erupts in me being super stressed and I can't focus.

My new favorite workout is what I call the "watch it now workout". Netflix watch it now has a pretty good selection of workout videos which are super convenient. 30 minutes in your living room.

The Self Magazine videos are my favorites.

Winter in Fishtown

Christmas in Philly sometimes means you buy your Christmas tree from the beer distributor. :)


Also we opened our door on Saturday and look what we saw...SNOW!
