I saw Nickel Creek perform last night at The Delaware Opera House with some friends. They put on a phenomonal show. They are to bluegrass what Iron and Wine is to folk. Chris Thile plays a mean mandolin.

thanks for the invite...jk. nickel creek is good stuff!
So good!
I would have invited you if I knew you liked them.
Want to see Ira Glass from "this american life" with me in DC in April. You have lots of time to plan.
they also are breaking up. so you should totally count your blessings.
so i know i've told you that nickel creek is my favorite band i have ever seen play right? i thought they broke up though? was it just chris thile?
nope. it was the whole band. Brad got me to go. It was super amazing...except they didn't play the lighthouse song.
yay Jay finally commented!
how was i the only person in the world that didn't know this show was happening in my backyard? somehow my stinkin' little brother went to the show and didn't even tell me. i've always wanted to see them and now they're breaking up... lamesauce!
