MoMa Exhibit

I love it when you see things, and it makes you go "that's just so smart!". This was my favorite house at the Moma exhibit. It is a traditional New Orleans shotgun style house that requires no nails. You just need a mallet to piece it together. I love that they kept it in this traditional style, kept some amazing detail, and it's still afordable and easy to assemble. AMAZING!

NYC

I went to NYC on Friday and Saturday for an inspiration trip from work. So I got to shop, explore, and take in oodles of fantastic ideas and objects. I also got to hang out with some of my favorite people. It made for an amazing weekend.

I lost my camera chord, so I can't upload my photos until I find it. Until then here is my weekend in silly sketches.

Words cannot express how excited I am about the Moma's new exhibit on prefab housing, so I'll sum up my excitement like this askldjmnvm,.hnasfai;a werihasjnasfguiweiorajsilejraklsnm,vnc,mnas'ejriwerhiohawlejnrma,dn!!!!!!

I love prefab housing. I love sustainable living and new ideas on redefining the dwelling. I also love things that are inexpensive and functional.

I'm going to the exhibit on Friday, it's going to be glorious. I feel like Lana at the Takashi Murakami exhibit.

Maybe it's my super short attention span, but I'm loving kids movies lately.
Wall-E was absolutely beautiful


Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium was just the inspiration I needed last week, and I'm convince that you can't go wrong with Natalie Portman and Dustin Hoffman.


All capped off with watching the Wizard of Oz outside in a park in the middle of the city.

I'm just feeling like there's a lack of inspiration in cinema lately. I miss good story telling. Anyone have any good movie suggestions?

Project Runway

I've decided to root for Jennifer on this season of project runway. She looks normal, but is so quirky. I also like her explanation of her style, "Holly Golightly attends a Salvador Dali exhibit". This season should be fabulous.

My friend Maarten was in Philly and stopped by to visit yesterday. It's always fun to catch up with old friends especially when you're in a new place.

Yellow Owl Workshop

I am in love with the yellow owl workshop stampset that I most recently saw on Design Sponge.



They make me want to sip Earl Grey, stamp out my own little adventure, and listen to this Joe Purdy Song.

J Crew

I'm going to get a little girly for a moment. I wore a hole in my favorite pair of jeans. These were amazing jeans. They fit perfectly and looked good with EVERYTHING.
I apparently loved them to death and was really distraught when they were rendered unwearable. I sent them back to JCrew to see if there was anything they could do about it, and I just got a gift certificate in the mail from them to replace them!
