Thankful

Today at church instead of a sermon Steve opened up the mic to anyone who wanted to come up and say what they were thankful for. It was really beautiful to hear people talking about what God is doing in their lives and all the wonderful things they get to reflect on. I got to get up and talk about moving to Philadelphia, and meeting Lana and finally having a church and community to call home. It made me recall all of the amazing things I've been blessed with this past year.

I have a lot to reflect on, and a lot to be thankful for.

Sad Day

The library down the street from my house is being affected by the city's budget cuts. They have to close it. I am so sad. ANNNND they won't be opening the ice skating rink down the street either. Lame lame lame.

Today I walked past a little girl sitting on the sidewalk gluing leaves to a piece of paper, as I strolled passed her she started humming Vanilla Ice. I think we would be best friends.

New Posters

I found these old blue prints in my aunt's attic and thought that they were too amazing to be stuck up there. I ended up screen printing over them to make some sweet posters. You can buy them on my etsy store. Each one is original, and it turns out they were plans to my great uncles house.

New Shoes

I've been looking for shoes that I can wear socks with for the winter that aren't sneakers and aren't boots. With a little help from Lana I found them from this cool cruelty free company called Keep.

Punkin' Chunkin

This weekend me and my Philly friends got to experience Sussex county Delaware at its finest at the annual Punkin' Chunkin' competition. We squinted our eyes to try and catch a glimpse of pumpkins being shot out of giant air compressed canons.
