Chris Ware

I have this new friend Nick, and Nick is a comic book colorist. I'm not kidding, he colors for a living, which means he's pretty much the coolest. I've never been into comic books, and I'm not really into super heroes. So I surprised even myself when I read my first comic book yesterday. It was The Acme Novelty Library #18 by Chris Ware, and it didn't have any super heroes so I had to run it by nick to make sure it counted. He assured me it did, and it was so ridiculously-amazingly-outofcontrolably-BRILLIANT. It was a whole new way of reading and experiencing a story. I'm a comic book convert.
